As recent as September 2016, she attended a forum of global dimensions namely, the U.S. – China Oil & Gas Industry Forum (OGIF) annual conference in Tysons Corner, Virginia, USA hosted by the Departments of Energy and Commerce. The forum is a public-private partnership that convenes business and government leaders from the petroleum and natural gas industries of the United States and China on an annual basis to address issues of common interest and features presentations and discussions of key topics and developments in oil and natural gas exploration, production, trade, and regulation while facilitating investment in oil and gas industries. It typically uses a panel-discussion format, and facilitates an open dialogue focusing on technology, market development, and government role. The U.S. Department of Energy, ExxonMobil, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, GE, and Fluor – all USEA members – are key stakeholders in the effort. OGIF partners with United States Energy Association (USEA) promoting multinational energy technology co-operation, among other things.

Likewise, she avails of opportunities provided by platforms such as the ones sponsored by the U.S. – China Oil & Gas Industry Forum annual conferences including energy related events involving Middle East, India, Brazil, Africa and other countries that produce fuel energy gas and other by products. She is informed with the general outlay of the legal regime pertaining to transaction of the said energy commodities. Moreover, she is updated of the global policy on energy attending various think tanks international forums hosted I various venues including at Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in its headquarters in Washington, DC that features foremost thinkers and leaders on global market energy, among others.
